Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Niceville is adding an Emergency Veterinarian (ER DVM) to our team.

We encourage new graduates seeking mentorship and guidance to apply!This opportunity is specifically designed for new or recently graduated veterinarians eager to develop their skills in emergency veterinary medicine! No prior ER experience is required - just a passion for learning and diving into this exciting field. This is a great opportunity for veterinarians looking for professional growth.

Join our well-established ER hospital in beautiful Niceville, Florida, where we’ve been proudly serving a growing community with compassionate care while staying at the forefront of emergency veterinary medicine since 1995.

The full-time schedule consists of 12 shifts per month.

• Some night and weekend shifts are required - open to discussion based on availability

• Predictable, rewarding schedule - 12 shifts per month - with the option to pick up more - only if you’d like
• Sign-On Bonus: Minimum $17k
• Relocation Assistance: Minimum $8k

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree / VMD or equivalent
• An active veterinary license in the state of FL is preferred, but not required, we will cover state licensure transfer fees
• Passionate about practicing outstanding emergency veterinary medicine and surgical care, while collaborating with an experienced team dedicated to seamless, compassionate patient care
• Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

About Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Niceville

Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Niceville is a growing emergency veterinary care facility providing exceptional veterinary care in the Northwest Florida Panhandle. Our sister practice in Destin grew so much, we opened our flagship location in Niceville in 1995. We were created by area veterinarians to fill the after-hour and critical care needs of their patients, and we continue to serve that capacity for the entire region with two locations. Our full-service emergency and critical care practice is located on the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida with its sugar sand beaches and multi-cultural lifestyle.

We see a large and diverse caseload and set high standards for emergency and critical care medicine. Our practice is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, doppler, and a surgical suite. We house a full-service Veterinary Reference Laboratory that provides STAT laboratory testing for our patients. We provide hematology, chemistry, endocrinology, coagulation, blood gas, lactate, urinalysis, and additional routine tests. We have a highly trained and experienced support staff with a high staff-to-doctor ratio to allow for excellence in the care of our emergency and critically ill patients. We take every step to give pets the best possible care and the first step is our wonderful staff.
